For those who need a high-flow pump for hard work in pressure washing and other daily-use commercial applications, the General Pump TS2021 from the 47 Series is a smart and long-lasting choice. This triplex plunger pump can deliver 5.6 GPM at a rate of 3500 PSI.
Its shaft is a 24mm solid shaft design, so it works well with belt-driven systems and fits right in with a pump that already has one. The TS2021 features a nickel-plated brass manifold which is more durable and offers longer pump life. It performs well even when working with a lot of chemicals or in hard water areas that can cause faster pump corrosion and wear.
Operating at 1450 RPM (rotate per minute), this pump is slower than high-speed pumps. Nevertheless, it is still powerful. This not only keeps the unit cooler during use, but the reduced speed also results in quieter operation when compared to higher RPM pumps.
Another plus is that the TS2021 has a stroke length of 0.630″ (16 mm), which is larger than that of most pumps. Larger strokes move more water per stroke. This means more efficiency and less work for the engine per gallon of water pumped. To run this pump, 13.4 EBHP (effective brake horsepower) is required.
The TS2021 is a smaller and lightweight pump, only weighing 32 lbs. Yet, it is still rugged enough for rough use and can be installed quickly.
