Veloci machines these couplers from premium brass, ensuring high durability under daily stress and constant water flow.
Although brass may discolor with age, it still seals tightly and performs reliably through heavy use.
However, if you need even more durability or chemical resistance, consider switching to Veloci’s stainless steel quick-connect line.
Remember, male threads are external, while female threads are recessed inside the port—match them carefully during setup.
All Veloci couplers feature NPT (National Pipe Thread), a tapered design made to seal tightly as you tighten each connection.
Before installation:

Wrap threads with 4–5 turns of Teflon tape clockwise, or

Use 2–3 drops of Loctite for strong sealing
If connecting to BSP (British Standard Pipe) threads, which are straight instead of tapered, apply 6–7 wraps of Teflon.
BSP will tighten sooner due to the thread shape, but a reliable seal is still possible with proper prep and sealing.
