Remember: male fittings have outside threads, while female fittings have threads inside—refer to the product image for clarity.
Veloci uses NPT threads, which are tapered and commonly used in North America for a tight, leak-free seal.

For best results with NPT fittings:
– Use 4–5 wraps of Teflon tape, applied clockwise, or
– Apply 2–3 drops of Loctite thread sealant

When connecting to BSP threads (used in Europe), use 6–7 wraps of Teflon tape or a little extra Loctite.
BSP threads are straight, not tapered, so they tighten sooner and may not go in as far as NPT threads.
You’ll still get a strong seal—just apply the correct amount of tape or sealant before tightening.
