Veloci Brass Coupler – 1/4″ FPT (24.0067)
Veloci’s 1/4″ brass coupler offers a fast, secure way to disconnect pressure washing components with minimal effort and maximum efficiency. Whether you’re swapping out lances, spray tips, or foam cannons, this coupler simplifies transitions to keep your workflow moving.
Thanks to its durable brass construction, this coupler handles regular use with ease while providing a consistent seal under high pressure. However, over time, you may notice surface discoloration due to heat and chemical exposure—a normal trait of even the best brass fittings.
For added corrosion resistance and higher PSI tolerance, consider upgrading to Veloci’s Stainless Steel line, which offers premium durability for demanding conditions.
Key Features:
-
1/4″ Female Pipe Thread (FPT): Standard size for downstream quick connect applications
-
High-Quality Brass: Provides reliable sealing and long-lasting wear in most cleaning environments
-
Quick Disconnect Design: Speeds up changes between tools, saving time on the job
-
Ideal Placement: Commonly used at the wand tip, spray gun outlet, or any quick-swap joint
-
NPT Threaded: Designed with tapered National Pipe Threads for pressure-tight sealing
Proper Use & Installation Tips:
Veloci’s 1/4″ couplers are most often installed at the end of the spray wand or directly at the spray gun outlet. They allow for fast connection to accessories like foam cannons or turbo nozzles—making pressure washing smoother and more efficient.
When identifying fittings:
-
Male = External threads
-
Female = Internal threads
All Veloci couplers use NPT threading, which relies on a tapered fit to create a seal. For best results:
-
Use 4–5 wraps of Teflon tape (clockwise) or 2–3 drops of Loctite on NPT-to-NPT connections.
-
For NPT to BSP (British Standard Pipe), apply 6–7 wraps of Teflon or extra sealant to ensure tightness.
While BSP threads tighten sooner and don’t go in as far, a secure seal is still achievable with the right technique and proper prep.
