Veloci manufactures every Prima fitting at its Minnesota facility. To start, they source raw 303 stainless steel bar stock from Pittsburgh—known as the City of Steel. Typically, this is where 3/8″ fittings are used, as they accommodate the high-flow demands and pressure output from commercial machines. -

Understanding Thread Types
Before connecting, make sure you’re matching the right thread style:

Male Threads: Located on the outside of the fitting

All Threads Are NPT: This is the standard tapered thread style across North America
Choosing the correct thread type improves sealing and prevents damage.
Seal It Right: Installation Made Simple
Now that you’re ready to connect, follow these simple steps:

For NPT to NPT connections: wrap 4–5 layers of Teflon tape clockwise, or apply 2–3 drops of Loctite thread sealant.

For NPT to BSP (common in European fittings): use 6–7 wraps of tape or a slightly heavier dose of Loctite.
Even though BSP threads tighten sooner, you’ll still get a proper seal with enough thread treatment.
