In most systems, Veloci’s 3/8″ quick connects fit perfectly between the pump outlet and spray gun inlet—where flow and pressure remain highest.

Know Your Threads – Avoid Costly Leaks
Before installation, it’s important to understand how each thread type behaves and how to identify them quickly:

NPT (National Pipe Thread) features a tapered seal—standard across North American pressure systems
Because NPT threads form a pressure seal through interference, proper sealing techniques are critical for safe and leak-free operation.
Seal It Right – Every Time
To prevent leaks and maximize performance, always apply sealant before threading your fittings together—no matter the type of thread.
For NPT to NPT connections, wrap 4–5 turns of Teflon tape (clockwise), or apply 2–3 drops of Loctite thread sealant.
When connecting NPT to BSP, which is common with imported gear, apply 6–7 wraps of Teflon tape or slightly more sealant.
Since BSP threads are straight and not tapered, they create resistance sooner—but a tight, leak-free seal is still achievable.
Therefore, always follow proper prep steps, and you’ll ensure every connection stays secure—even under heavy flow and demanding use.
